Die BMV® HME Filterkassetten werden mit Hilfe einer 22 mm Aufnahme auf eine Trachealkanüle oder ein Tracheostomapflaster konnektiert. Sie dienen der Anfeuchtung, Erwärmung und Reinigung der Atemluft von laryngektomierten und tracheotomierten Patienten. Darüber hinaus ermöglichen sie laryngektomierten Patienten mit Stimmprothese sowie tracheotomierten Patienten mit dem Finger einen Verschluss herbeizuführen, sodass die Ausatemluft entsprechend durch die Stimmprothese zum Sprechen umgeleitet werden kann.
Indikation für die das Produkt aufgenommen wurde:
Tracheostoma zur passiven Atemgaskonditionierung sowie entsprechender Trachealkanülenversorgung zur Stimmbildung
